DTV Programme Timer Setting

With the Programme Timer list you can sort the order of

programmes or delete programmes that are preset for

recording/watching.

Press HOME MENU.

Select “Setup” ( / then ENTER).

Select “DTV Setup” ( / then ENTER).

Select “Programme Timer” ( / then ENTER).

Set the start and end time of preset recording/watching

and the channel number (

/ , / or 0 – 9). Register

after all desired settings are made (ENTER).

Setting up digital TV channels manually

This section describes how to add new digital TV channels.

Adding New Channels

You can scan the new TV channels and download them to

your Plasma Display System.

Press HOME MENU.

Select “Setup” ( / then ENTER).

Select “DTV Setup” ( / then ENTER).

Select “Installation” ( / then ENTER).

• The password entry screen appears. Enter your 4-digit

password using buttons 0 – 9.

Select “Add New Channels” ( / then ENTER).

Checking signal strength

You can check the signal strength and signal quality of each

TV channel.

Repeat steps 1 to 4 provided for Adding New

Channels.

Select “Signal Check” ( / then ENTER).

Select “RF Channel” ( / then ENTER).

Select the channel to be checked ( / ).

• Use “Add New Channels” function here to add

channels within the selected RF Channel (receiving

frequency).

• Channel search automatically starts.

• To quit a channel search in progress, press HOME

MENU.

Restoring System Defaults

Use this function only when you wish to reset all the DTV

settings to the factory defaults.

Press HOME MENU.

Select “Setup” ( / then ENTER).

Select “DTV Setup” ( / then ENTER).

Select “Installation” ( / then ENTER).

• The password entry screen appears. Enter your 4-digit

password using buttons 0 – 9.

Select “Restore System Defaults” ( / then ENTER).

• A confirmation screen appears.

With “OK” pressed, the system restores the factory

defaults. After this Auto Installation is initiated

automatically.

Setting Aerial Power

The power supply to the antenna connected to the DTV

antenna terminal can be switched on or off.

Repeat steps 1 to 4 provided for Adding New

Channels.

Select “Aerial Power” ( / ).

Select “On” or “Off” ( / ).
