7. Press the ASES button.

¶ When the MiniDisc completes playback, the cas-

sette tape will also stop.

¶ MiniDisc and cassette tape cannot be removed

during A.S.E.S. operation. To remove a loaded

MiniDisc or cassette tape, press the stop (7) but-

ton and cancel the A.S.E.S. function before re-

moving the disc or cassette.

7 To manually stop recording

Press the stop (7) button. Recording can also be

stopped by pressing the stop (7) button on the CD

MD tuner.

NOTES:

¶ When the tape cassette comes to the end of side A

and recording switches to side B, if MiniDisc play-

back is in the middle of a track, that entire track will

be recorded anew on side B.

¶ If programmed playback is set on the MiniDisc re-

corder, the programmed contents will be recorded in

the A.S.E.S. mode. If the MiniDisc recorder’s repeat

function is turned ON, repeat playback will be

canceled.

TAPE (this unit) = TAPE (CD Tuner

Deck only)

Use the A.S.E.S. function to play back a cassette tape on

this unit while automatically recording onto a cassette

tape on the CD tuner deck.

1. Press the TAPE OPEN/CLOSE button (0) on

the CD tuner deck and load the cassette tape

which you wish to record onto.

Be sure to insert the cassette in the direction shown.

Inserting the cassette backwards will cause a mal-

function or damage.

2. Press the TAPE OPEN/CLOSE button to close

the tray.

¶ Quand la lecture du mini-disque s’achève, la cas-

sette s’arrête également.

¶ Il n’est pas possible de retirer le mini-disque et la

cassette pendant le fonctionnement A.S.E.S. Pour

retirer un mini-disque ou une cassette installée,

appuyez sur la touche d’arrêt (7) et annulez la

fonction A.S.E.S. avant de les retirer.

7 Pour arrêter manuellement l’enregistrement

Appuyez sur la touche d’arrêt (7). Vous pouvez aussi

arrêter l’enregistrement en appuyant sur la touche

d’arrêt (7) du Combiné radio/MD/CD.

REMARQUES:

Quand la cassette arrive à la fin de sa face A et que

l’enregistrement passe à la face B, si la lecture du mini-

disque se trouve au milieu d’une plage, celle-ci sera à

nouveau enregistrée depuis son début sur la face B.

¶ Si une lecture est programmée sur l’enregistreur de

mini-disque, le contenu programmé sera enregistré

en mode A.S.E.S. Si la fonction de répétition de

l’enregistreur de mini-disque est en service, la lec-

ture répétée sera annulée.

CASSETTE (Cet appareil) = CAS-

SETTE (Combiné radio/cassette/CD

seulement)

Utilisez la fonction A.S.E.S. pour reproduire une cassette

sur cet appareil tout en l’enregistrant automatiquement

sur une cassette du Combiné radio/cassette/CD.

1. Appuyez sur la touche TAPE OPEN/CLOSE (0)

du Combiné radio/cassette/CD et installez la

cassette sur laquelle vous désirez enregistrer.

Insérez la cassette dans le sens indiqué. Son inser-

tion à l’envers provoquerait des dégâts ou une

défaillance.

2. Appuyez sur la touche TAPE OPEN/CLOSE

pour refermer le plateau.
