range provides the solution thanks to its innovative, patented,
Damper-less Air Suspension Excursion Control System.
The system, which combines with an Interlaced Glass/
Carbon Fibre reinforced IMPP™ drive cone, allows for a
slim and compact sub design, without compromising any of
the power and quality. The result: a sub more than worthy
of the Pioneer label, which can be easily installed in any car.

SPACE-SAVING AIR SUSPENSION EXCURSION CONTROL SYSTEM
A typical subwoofer uses a damper (spider) to control the woofer
cone’s excursion. The Air Suspension Excursion Control System,
formed by creating a sealed air space between the double cones,
effectively replaces the damper, providing excellent design and
performance characteristics. It provides superior compliance linearity,
regardless of volume input, for reproducing exceptionally clear, low-
distortion bass sound. In addition, thanks to its compact design,
the enclosure volume has been reduced by 70%.
