1. Turn on the player with no disc in tray

2. Wait for "No Disc" message

3. Press SET/VOL, DOWN, 0, MUTE, PREVIOUS, NEXT, OK

1. Open the disc tray

2. Press SETUP

3. Press RETURN, INFO, 8, 8, 8

4. Press the button for the desired RC (0=codefree)

5. Close the disc tray

2. Press 1, 6, 7

3. Select desired RC

1. Power on (with no disc inside)

2. Press MENU, 9, OPEN/CLOSE, 5

3. Enter region code (MUTE for codefree)

1. Power on (without a disc inserted)

2. Press MENU

3. Press 1, 6, 7, 1, 9

4. Select the region (0 = codefree)

If the player doesn't accept the changes, do the following:

5. Power off

6. Press and hold PLAY

7. Power on

8. The language setting is displayed

9. Release PLAY

10. Select language (key 1-6)
