Using different
entertainment displays
You can enjoy entertainment displays while lis-
tening to each sound source.
1 Press MULTI-CONTROL to display the
main menu.
FUNCTION, AUDIO and ENTERTAINMENT
appear on the display.
2 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select
ENTERTAINMENT.
Turn to change the menu option. Press to se-
lect.
3 Use MULTI-CONTROL to change the dis-
play.
Turn to change the menu option. Press to se-
lect.
ENT. OFF (entertainment off)—BGV-1 (back-
ground visual 1)—BGV-2 (background visual
2)—BGV-3 (background visual 3)—BGV-4
(background visual 4)—BGP-1 (background
picture 1)—BGP-2 (background picture 2)—
BGP-3 (background picture 3)—BGP-4 (back-
ground picture 4)—SPECTRUM ANALYZER-1
(spectrum analyzer 1)—
SPECTRUM ANALYZER-2 (spectrum analyzer
2)—LEVEL METER (level meter)—
LEVEL INDICATOR (level indicator)—
BATTERY VOLTAGE (voltage indicator)—
ENT CLOCK (entertainment clock)—MOVIE
(movie screen)—DISPLAY OFF (display off)
# Voltage indicator may differ from the actual
voltage level.
# Selecting DISPLAY OFF reduces the noise
that comes from display. While the display indica-
tor is turning off, display off indicator lights up.
# You can also switch between the displays in
reverse order by turning MULTI-CONTROL coun-
terclockwise.
# You can also switch between the display by
pressing ENTERTAINMENT on the remote con-
trol.
# To return to the playback display, press BAND.
4 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select the dis-
play form.
Push MULTI-CONTROL up or down to select
the menu option; press to select.

# Display form can be changed when entertain-
ment off (ENT. OFF), background visual (BGV-1,
BGV-2, BGV-3, BGV-4) or background picture
(BGP-1, BGP-2, BGP-3, BGP-4) is selected.
# If Display Form 2 is selected in the following
sources, play time and title information are not
displayed simultaneously.

! DVD player/multi-DVD player
! iPod
# If Display Form 3 is selected in the following
sources, display information cannot be changed.
! Tuner

Using the PGM button
You can operate the preprogrammed functions
for each source by using PGM on the remote
control.
% Press PGM to turn pause on when se-
lecting the following sources:
! CD – Built-in CD player
! Multi-CD – Multi-CD player
